About

It’s About Talent & Community

Wiggle Room is a vibrant hub for emerging dance music, artists and events. Our dance floor is a platform for local communities to build collective joy, positivity, and inspiration. It’s a place for stories and friendships. And it’s a launch pad for new promoters and DJs to connect and collaborate.

Apart from being a venue, Wiggle Room is also a record label, a talent roster, and an event planner.

The venue is 772 Dundas St W, just a block west of Bathurst Street. It’s housed in an unassuming concrete building above a pizza restaurant, and you reach it by ascending a flight of stairs to the second floor. The space is more than just a room to wiggle. There are two lounge areas side by side. One has a long wrap-around red couch. The other area surrounds a small pool table. Luminescent art pieces, special lighting, and projections enhance the dance floor. The washroom is gender-neutral. An intimate room across the bar is a mystery. See our Facebook Photo Galleries to get more of a sense.

Many amazing talented artists have contributed to making Wiggle Room the Home of Bouncy Beats.

Our internal team consists of Takin, Lindsay Fay, Nour Bawab, Christina Barron, Tyler Hill, Mitch (lead security), Maria (bar) and Tanya.

Contact us to book the venue, reserve a table, or to be added to the guestlist.

Had an absolute blast there last night. Crowd and vibes are off the charts. No pushing, not a single rude person, staff was excellent, sound is incredible. Feels like a house party with your best friends. 100/100. Highly recommend.

My home away from home. Honestly the best place to dance and relax and just be you. Women I stress to you this is such a safe space. I leave my drink every where and I've never had an issue. The staff there are great. Observant but not in your face. The DJs are so talented. I just love it. Come see for your self. You won't be disappointed

Always a good time. House music + . The DJ's impress most nights. The guest DJ's are local and international. They have a knack for finding new talent and nurturing them. The club had at least five of their regular DJ's on the roster at the internationally famous Harvest Festival 2023 in Burks Falls Ontario. That's an accomplishment and a real statement of the calibre of the talent to be seen there. They just had their tenth anniversary. That says a lot too. Most night clubs usually close down within a year. It's usually an older crowd but all are welcome to come dance and wiggle. Don't be afraid to dance like no one's watching because we might be but we won't judge. Seniors discount $5 at the door, how cool is the

Good house music is hard to come by in a public venue these days, y'all know what I mean. Gave this place a try since I'm new to town, did not disappoint. The beats were crisp and buttery. The DJ's are very deliberate with their delivery. Friendly people and atmosphere. Thanks for a great night!

My cousin Melanie invited me there for her birthday party Saturday, and I had a blast. As somebody who identifies as a woman, I often have to be careful while going out drinking.. (watch my drink, & what not). This place was such a safe environment! Everyone was very friendly and kind and I felt very safe. No need to be cautious of where my coat or drink was. Besides everybody being really fun and welcoming, the music was so good. The owner was djing and didn’t disappoint. I’ll 100% be going here again. The doorman was nice, the coat check was nice, the bartenders were above and beyond. One went into the back just to find me a bottle of white wine another was helping me search for a hair elastic lol. They were just the sweetest staff. It was a really positive environment. If you enjoy house and just want a great Dj & a dance floor than this is the place.

Love this place!! The dj's are awesome, and the sound is loud but I never feel hard of hearing the next day like at some other clubs. The bathrooms are very clean and don't seem to ever be that busy. It's fun dancing on the big box!

Keeping it On The Down-local

Supporting Local Talent

A female Dj with her hands in the air

We are proud to support a wide array of Canadian artists in audio, visual, and multidisciplinary mediums. Currently, about 95% of performances at Wiggle Room are by Canadian artists. Additionally, we strive for equal opportunity and are proud that nearly half of the performances are by non-male-identifying artists. Hear live sets shared by past performers.

Our talent roster includes DJs often featured at clubs, festivals, and underground events. Genres include bouncy house, techno, tech-house, minimal, bass, tribal and more.

Local Sound

Two tall subwoofer speakers

Wiggle Room is powered by our new Yorkville Sound Synergy System designed by Danley Sound. These beauties were forged in our backyard at a massive factory in Pickering. This highly underrated Canadian brand sounds crisp, boom boom booming bass, with clear punchy mid-range and high frequencies. Tuned for the room, we love our Canadian-made Yorkville sound.

Local Brew

Two cans of beer, one silver, and one orange, black and multi-coloured elements

Our bar menu offers brews from local grassroots craft breweries. Collective Arts Brewery is right across the street from Wiggle Room. We serve its Ransack the Universe IPA. We also offer Fernwood Trail Beer from Haliburton, Ontario.

On special with your table reservation is Brother’s Grimm Vodka, It’s distilled 10x and made with Northern Ontario spring water and with non-GMO corn grown in Ontario. This Toronto distillery is producing some of the finest vodkas we have ever tasted.

Local Artists

Mirror Led Art with Mike Dunn in foreground

Designed by Toronto-based artist Mike Dunn, a combination of infinity mirror engineering and LED pixel technology, this object is able to create patterns that sync to the beat and transcends the audience through a beautiful visual spectrum.

The work of more visual artists is announced on our news blog.

Acknowledging the Local Indigenous Presence

We acknowledge that the land we’re on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. Today, our community is home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We respect the obligations towards those communities and treaties. More opens a new window

Before there was Wiggle Room, Wiggly Events began this magical journey. Since its inception in 2014, Wiggly Events has been a prominent event-organizing group based in Toronto. It has showcased multidisciplinary mediums of arts within non-traditional, raw, abandoned, outdoors, forested, and other unique spaces. Through these unique gatherings, the Wiggly community grew to the point that it was time for a permanent home. Thus: Wiggle Room.

2024 began with DECA’DANCE: Wiggly Events’ 10 Year Anniversary. Camp Wiggly is in June.

Offsite events in 2023 included the Wiggly Warehouse with Roger Sanchez on March 10, Camp Wiggly on June 9-11, the Captain’s Moonlight Kajama Cruise on July 28, and the Sunday Boat Party @ HiGH Noon on August 20 and the Wiggly Warehouse with Bad Boy Bill on December 22.
