SEKS is an acronym for Sabrina Elizabeth Kalli Somethings.
Residing in Toronto (born in Ottawa), Sabrina has worked with video and installation art for over a decade. Originally a traditional artist, she was introduced to time-based media during her studies at OCADU. She immerses herself in creating narratives and environments and explores themes of identity, memory, relational politics, and pattern recognition.
SEKS has collaborated with various production companies, festivals, and artists over the years, including Architextures, Spectrum, Box of Kittens, Promise, Solstice, Harvest, Electric Circuits, Pick a Piper, Bad Boy Bill, Maxxine, and Namito. Currently, she is a resident at Toronto’s Wiggle Room.
She evokes emotions and stories through SEKS’s vibrant and pulsating imagery, creating moments that resonate deeply with our souls. Each piece unfolds a narrative, revealing the depth of human experience beyond the tangible.
