Meet Funk Shui: Our New Counterpart Across the Street

Funk Shui Eats Beats logo with a yin-yang design and decorative border.

If you’ve walked past 769 Dundas St W lately, you’ve probably noticed something new taking shape right across from us. That’s Funk’Shui, our sister venue and daytime-to-late-night counterpart.

Two Rooms, Two Moods

Wiggle Room has always been about the dark, underground experience: late nights, after-hours, the deep end of the dance floor. Funk’Shui is the other half of that equation. Bright, open, flexible, built for the hours before we open our doors.

Where Wiggle Room takes you into the night, Funk’Shui carries the day. Two rooms, two moods, one community stretching across Dundas Street.

The Name

Funk’Shui plays with rhythm, resonance and flow: part funk, part movement, born from a performer’s dream. Water moves, bends, and finds its own path. A dance floor does the same. That’s the feeling behind the name, not a design philosophy, just a room in motion.

Find your flow. Feel the groove.

What’s Happening There

Funk’Shui debuted on NYE 2025/26 and is still coming together: clean white walls, warm wood accents, an open layout built to flex with whatever the night calls for. Food is part of the plan and coming soon.

In the meantime, it’s already hosting real programming, including some of our own:

  • Wiggle Room Academy masterclasses, intimate production sessions starting with Tribal House and Tech House pioneer Carlos Manaça
  • DnB & Jungle, featuring Marcus Visionary, Joyride, Fizzx and Illfingaz as part of our 5th Anniversary Festival

Come Say Hi

If you’re a regular here, Funk’Shui is worth a look. Same street, same community, different hours and a different feel. It’s where things start before they end up at Wiggle Room.
