At Wiggle Room, consent and comfort come first. We want everyone to feel safe dancing, connecting, and being themselves, and that includes having control over when they’re photographed or recorded.
To protect privacy in a crowded, low‑light dance environment, we do not permit smart glasses with hidden or discreet recording capability (for example, Meta’s camera‑equipped eyewear). Prescription glasses are absolutely welcome. If your only eyewear has recording capability, speak with staff at the door; we’ll work with you on a solution such as covering the camera with a sticker so you can see while respecting others’ privacy.
Our professional photographer and videographer may capture the night’s energy, but no one is ever required to appear in photos or videos. If you’d prefer not to be pictured, indicate to the photographer or any staff member on arrival (or anytime), and we’ll honour that without question. We don’t post unwelcome images; we’ll remove photos on request, and we never sell or share high‑resolution files.
Please be mindful when taking photos or videos: seek consent before or after (a nod, a smile, a gesture, or verbal “yes”), and respect a “no” (a head shake or hand wave). Boundaries can shift with context; when in doubt, ask.
